Call for Proposals: 2023 Data Use Research Competition

The application is now open for the 2023 Data Use Research Competition. The 50x2030 Initiative invites research teams from Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Senegal, and Uganda to submit research proposals as part of efforts to bridge the Agricultural Data Gap. Areas of focus sought for proposals include agricultural productivity, agricultural exports, and food systems and food security.

Research teams are encouraged to leverage 50x2030 survey data and explore innovative approaches by integrating additional datasets. Proposals should highlight the relevance of the research to national policies, programs, and global/regional agricultural development and food security priorities. Selected research teams will receive funding, training, and mentoring support, with opportunities to showcase their work at relevant events.
